2013 Winter Classic Freeze-Out

Get ready for the 3rd annual Winter Classic Freeze-Out. 8 Freeze-Out games played in 8 weeks starting February 3rd with 1 extra final game for the Champions of each 8 games. This is how this season's WCF is going to work.

Regular 8 Games Set-Up:

Buy-in $10+$2 per game ($2 going towards the prize pool for the final Champions table).
Starting chip stack $1500.
No rebuys, no add-ons, no peak cards.
20 minutes blinds.
10 players per game (an increase of 2 players due to high demand).
Payout for each game is top 2. Payout depends on how many players register. Anticipate sold out on each event.
1 game per week either on Sundays or Saturdays. Start times TBA.
Winner of each event gets a free ticket (transferable) to the Tournament of Champions.

Tournament of Champions:

Buy-in, freeroll.
Starting chip stack $1500.
No rebuys, no add-ons, no peak cards.
20 minutes blinds.
Number of players will depend on who wins the above 8 games.
Prize Payout top 2. Total prize pool will depend on how many $2 registration fees are collected above.
Game date, the immediate Sunday at 6:00pm following the final 8th game above.

Due to the popularity of the WCF, and to allow fairness in giving everyone a chance to register for a seat, no pre-posting of games will be leaked out, and I'll be posting the games randomly, sporadically, and spontaneously. The first game will be on Feb 3rd Superbowl Sunday at 13:00, and will be posted within the next couple of weeks.
