Results!

Results are in! Here are the new rules that will be implemented:

Rule #1

We're going to implement the first card off the deck rule, but with a variation.  If you are not in your seat when it is your turn to act, you are mucked.

No exceptions for "just going to pee, don't muck me", or if a player is just coming down the stairs from a smoke.

However, I think common sense should be applied for hosts - if they're out of their seat because they are taking a buy-in from a late player, obviously don't muck them.  If they are preparing food for all of us, be courteous and give them a shout.

Every other player should have this rule enforced.

Rule #2

The day/time will be left to the discretion of the host.

Rule #3

There is now a minimum starting stack of 2000 chips.

Rule #4

Peek cards are now gone. (Holy! I had NO idea people wanted to get rid of these things - besides Jim that is)

Rule #5

Big pot chip stacks will increase, but remain proportional.  We will increase the top player's chips to 3500 and the math stays the same for everybody else.

Rule #6

We are not implementing the 2 deck-rule (you guys got mad about this one! lol)

Rule #7

We will be outlining the WEEKENDS of the regular season games, not the actual days.  Hosts will still be responsibile for picking the day/time, but the weekend will be defined.  I will, however, be setting the day/time for the Big Pot game.  So, as as soon as we iron out the regular season games, I will figure out the day/time for this.

New rule

This was brought up by a few players, and we're going to implement it because it just makes sense.  An absent player's cards, or all mucked cards if you are dealing, are off limits.  Nobody should be looking at mucked cards, including the dealer.  This also includes cards that have been mucked and players go and fish them out.  Cards that are mucked stay in the muck.

I will be missing tonight's game, but I'll be reaching out for a few players to ensure these are clear and implemented tonight.

Cheers

Dave
